China’s Space Dream is America’s Nightmare

The Chinese have a plan for global domination. Space plays a key role in their ambitions. Not only do they hope to become the seat of technological innovation and advancement, but Beijing also dreams of knocking the US from its dominant position in orbit by targeting US satellite constellations and by becoming the premiere power exploiting the natural resources of space.

Nationalism Is the Key for Space Exploration

Nationalist governments in China, Japan, and India have led these countries to make bold moves in the strategic domain of space. A lack of nationalism and cultural pride in the United States is causing America to lose–bigly.

Not Your Father’s Disruption

In quantum computing, biotech, and space mining the United States is competing for dominance with China…and the U.S. is losing. Innovation and disruption go hand-in-hand whichever side embraces this first will win the 100-Year Marathon.

We Must Mine Space Before China Does

China has engaged in a decades-long strategy of encirclement of the United States. They have focused on capturing critical resources in order to hold America hostage. In my recent op-ed at American Greatness, I argue that the United States must mine the moon and asteroids before China does, in order to prevent China’s total dominance of rare earth metals.

The Wrong Stuff: U.S. Space Policy

The president’s recent tweet undercutting his administration’s moon-Mars plan underscores a terrible misconception about space policy on the president’s part. It’s not just about taking a pretty picture on the Red Planet. It’s about taking territory before our rivals can. Therefore, taking the moon first and then pushing on to Mars is the only way to get Americans in space permanently.

The Deep State Just Killed Space Force—and Endangered Us All

The “Deep State” not only threatens the president with a #FakeNews story of Russia “collusion.” They are now seriously undermining American national security all in the name of “resisting” the dreaded “Orange Man” president. Sad!

The President Has Lost the Space Force Fight

It remains to be seen whether the president’s space policy agenda will pan out. One thing is certain, though: the president failed to achieve his objective of creating a fully independent, robust, and highly capable Space Force. The bureaucracy and the Democrats managed to hem him in. And, it is unlikely that the more ambitious aspects of the president’s space agenda will be enacted in a timely manner — allowing for both the Chinese and the Russians to exploit space for their own strategic ends (and at America’s expense).
