Brandon J. Weichert will discuss the radical new direction in Turkey’s politics and its implications for Europe, the Mideast, and the U.S. Specifically, Mr. Weichert will analyze the impact of the neo-Ottomanist ideology has on Turkey’s leader, President Recep Erdogan, and why Turkey may be a destabilizing element in NATO’s southern periphery.
